A brief albeit good article on Halloween and Pumpkin beers. As it is out of San Francisco, it does not include Schlafly's Pumpkin Brew which is I am told is quite tasty. I, myself, am not personally fond of the Pumpkin beer taste.
I also wish they would have added Schmaltz Brewery's Coney Island Freaktoberfest. It is described as a blood red lager and lives up to its name in addition to being quite tasty.
Both can be found at Friar Tuck, the Schlafly in 6 packs and the Schmaltz in 22oz bombers.
